The Problem with this Forum

Okay, hi-hi guys. I know I may be sounding hypocritical because I hardly post here, but I'd like to point something out that's been bothering me.

Victor HAS been getting people to join his forums. There are plenty of people who are active, and then again, plenty who are not. There are plenty of people who join this forum, post once in the introduction thread, and might post in a couple of other threads, but that's ultimately it. They don't ever post again. So, what's the point of even becoming a member or adding new members if they're not going to post ever? I just think that if you're going to invite someone or join the forum, you should make sure that you/they would be decently active to the forum and not just visit one time and never come back.

What do you guys think?

If there were some easy way to make sure of that then I'd totally do that.

I'd be posting more here now since school is out for 2 weeks but I've been sick the past few days and haven't really felt like doing much beyond resting

man the problem with this forum is that there's not enough people for there to be anything worth posting about

There's like 50+ people, we've carried on tons of interesting discussions with much less than that on chat. The problem is you guys aren't posting commonly.

10/10 need community activities like game nights and strip poker nights.

Also, I don't know if anyone here is website code savvy, but a mobile version would be great. Other forums I am a part of have excellent mobile sites and it's just convenient.

Another thing, I've talked to Vic about it, but moving the chats from Facebook to a chat on this site is essential. If we're closer to the forums then there's more of a chance posting will happen.

I'll try to make an effort to create more topics to talk about, in the hopes people will get engaged in them; it's my belief that people post more often when there's an interesting topic that they can get engaged with. My ideas include more forum games as well. People like games, right?

Forum games are good. I'm just hoping we can maintain people so that swordpretzel doesn't end up like The Xephyr Board where we basically post only on "Things that cheer you up/things that piss you off/what song are you listening to/2000 reasons Xephyr is dead."
